The defense of Travis Rinking, who is already guilty of shooting an AR-15 rifle inside the Waffle House restaurant in Nashville and killing four people, seeks a verdict of not guilty to declare him that he performed the act for reasons of insanity.
During the murder trial earlier this week, defense attorney Luke Evans described Rinking's shooting as It is derived from his mental illness: schizophrenia.
The individual's defender justified his client's act on the impulses of delusions and paranoia that he suffered, since he experienced hallucinations such as thinking who was the boyfriend of the famous singer Taylor Swiftwho according to his mind was chasing him to sexually harass him.
Travis Rinking also claimed that people from the government entered his house to steal your thoughts. These hallucinations included his version that God gave him the order to execute to the officers who were at Waffle House, being the four innocent people who lost their lives that day.
The authorities, as well as the shooter's defense, await the judge's verdict in the near future.
