Sheinbaum offers to increase minimum wage
The coordinator of the defense committees of the fourth transformation, Claudia Sheinbaumannounced that if the current regime continues in government, it will would increase the minimum wage.
He said that previous governments attracted foreign investments by offering the low salaries paid in Mexico as an advantage, and said that responsible investments are needed.
"No more bragging about low wages, we are going to continue increasing minimum wages as the President López Obrador and continue offering schools and sports and culture for our young people.
"What we are about to define in Guanajuato, in the entire country, is whether we want the transformation to continue, to continue advancing in the great rights of the people of Mexico, in our sovereignty, of course with private investment, as long as it brings well-being and good salaries. "Sheinbaum pointed out.
In her speech to Morena militants in Silao, Guanajuato, she said on several occasions that she had to be careful with her words, due to the sanctions imposed by the INE.
"It is about to be defined very soon, you have to be careful with what you say, but what the people of Mexico want is about to be defined very soon. If we continue along the path laid out by President Andrés Manuel López Obrador or return to the past. If we continue along the path of social programs that support the people of Mexico, that open up rights, or we return to abandonment and not supporting the people of Mexico," he stated Sheinbaum.
He considered that the precautionary measures imposed by the INE, regarding the fact that Sheinbaum's public events must be in closed places and exclusively with militants, are excessive.
In his speech he took the opportunity to play an audio in which former President Vicente Fox, originally from Guanajuato, believes that social programs should be ended, and unleashed the outcry of his supporters.
