Second day of Air Bridge ends with humanitarian aid for Acapulco: SICT
The Secretariat of Infrastructure, Communications and Transportation (SICT) reported that on the second day of the humanitarian airlift from Mexico City to the Port of Acapulco in support of those affected by Hurricane Otis in Guerrero, 14 air operations were carried out, with which continued the rescue of people, sending food and medical aid.
The flights, which arrive at AICM and AIFA, are free of charge with the support of the companies Aeroméxico, Volaris and VivaAerobus, qualified technical personnel from the Centro Norte Airport Group (OMA), Navigation Services in Mexican Airspace (SENEAM) and the Federal Civil Aviation Agency (AFAC).

The Acapulco airport is in operational condition on its runway, so it is possible to receive humanitarian aid.
SENEAM and AFAC continue to supervise the work of the Control Tower and on the runways to fully reactivate its electronic and radar systems to be able to fully carry out air operations.

Tomorrow the meeting points for transfers will be maintained to airports in:
- Diana (Av. Costera Miguel Alemán S/N, Fracc. Magallanes, La Condesa).
- Vidanta (Av. Costera de las Palmas No. 1121 Fracc. Playa Diamante).
The priority of the Secretariat is the full restoration of telecommunications - fiber optics and mobile network - in Acapulco.
