Santiago Nieto announces that he will leave the prosecutor's office in Hidalgo; seeks seat in the Senate

The person in charge of the office of the Attorney General's Office of Hidalgo (PGJH), Santiago Nieto Castillo, reported that he will abandon this responsibility to seek a nomination for the Senate of the Republic for the colors of Brunette.

According to the judicial official, it will be this week that he notifies the governor of Hidalgo, Julio Menchaca Salazar, of his aspiration.

I will register in the process for the Senate of the Republic, I cannot give more details because I know the electoral regulations,” he said at a press conference held in Querétaro in which he was accompanied by Morenoist leaders and advisors of the entity.

Nieto Castillo also reported that on November 4, the National Transformation Coordinator will be in this entity.

On November 4, the national coordinator of the 4T defense committees, Claudia Sheinbaum, will be there. We will all be in unity supporting this process and this position of partisan nature to which she has been appointed, with the participation of citizens, throughout the Mexican Republic.”

Regarding the support he provided in the internal process to Marcelo Ebrard, Santiago Nieto said that is respectful of the party's processes and decisionsworking towards a national project.
