The Government of the Saharawi Republic and the Polisario Front rejected this Tuesday that Israel recognized Morocco as sovereign over Western Sahara.

In this sense, both organizations pointed out that the statements of the Israeli side lack legal and political value. They also pointed out that these statements will only strengthen the determination of the Saharawi people to continue their struggle.

In a statement issued by the local Ministry of Information, the Saharawi side assures that this decision cannot be classified as an achievement for the Moroccan side, but rather it is a sample of how two occupying States join forces to maintain their yoke over Western Sahara and Palestine, respectively.



Along these lines, the text recalls that both regimes subject two peoples to oppression, usurping their international rights such as independence and self-determination.

Likewise, the communiqué affirms that the Zionist decision is a mockery of the international community and of the millions of people who have suffered the humiliation of these two States.

Likewise, the text warns about the repercussions that the alliance between both countries can bring, which can implement joint subversive and military campaigns, which threaten the security of the North and Sahel regions of Africa.
