Russian grain reserves increase 58.4% in June | News

Grain and pulse stocks in Russia's agricultural organizations, excluding small enterprises, increased by 58.4 percent by the end of June, reaching some 13.19 million tons, according to the country's Statistical Service (Rosstat).

The reserves grew at the end of June in annual terms by 74.2 percent, some 7.45 million tons, and corn grain, by 8.1 percent, up to 1.16 million tons.

The documents specify that the reserves of seeds and fruits increased, in June of this year, by 51.4 percent compared to the same month last year. Sunflower seed stocks rose 74.4 percent to 0.9 million tons.



According to Rosstat, in annual terms the reserve of potatoes fell by 9.8 percent, to 115,320 tons, while vegetables grew by 51.7 percent, to 85,912 tons.
