Turkish Defense Minister Hulusi Akar noted that the parties hope that the agreement "will continue without any interruption, because this agreement is very important for the countries in need, as well as for regional peace and stability."

In this sense, the headline pointed out that the deputy defense ministers of Türkiye, Ukraine and Russia will meet in Istanbul this Friday to "discuss some issues, especially the grain initiative."

For his part, Kremlin spokesman, Dimitri Peskov, stated the day before that the talks between the parties have stalled without results while he stressed that "the window is closing."

"The terms of the agreement have not been fully fulfilled on those issues that concern the Russian agricultural sector, but the dialogue will continue," the presidential spokesman said.
