The Denver Police Department (DPD) in the United States (USA) reported a shooting on Wednesday at the East High School educational center, located in the state of Colorado where, so far, two injuries have been reported.

“Two adult teachers have been transported to area hospitals. Again, we will do a controlled release once DPD allows it. We are working to increase the number of buses on the 15 line to help students get home,” said the Denver Public Schools (DPS) system.
According to Mayor Michael Hancock, one of the injured had to undergo surgery, while the other is stable and available to give statements.

“Students who drove will be escorted to their cars in the parking lot and may leave. Students who ride the bus will be held until their bus arrives,” DPS wrote on its Twitter account.
The Denver Police Department reported that it is working to locate the suspect in the shooting.
