Registran sismo de magnitud 6,1 en Meta, Colombia | Noticias
El Servicio Geológico Colombiano (SGC), registró este jueves un sismo de magnitud 6,1 en el departamento de Meta, ubicado al centro del país, muy cerca de Bogotá (capital).

Según el ente, el epicentro del sismo ocurrió en la localidad de El Calvario, en Meta, ubicada a unos 47 kilómetros de la capital colombiana.
Asimismo, se conoció que el movimiento telúrico ocurrió a las 12H04 (hora local), y su profundidad fue de 30 kilómetros.

Medios locales reportan que algunos edificios capitalinos fueron evacuados, así como los ubicados en la localidad de Villavicencio, en el departamento de Meta.
La cartera sismológica reportó la ocurrencia de un nuevo movimiento de magnitud 5,6 a las 12H17 (hora local) y el epicentro se registró en Villavicencio.
Previamente en la jornada, a las 08H28 (hora local) se había producido un sismo de 4,3 y el epicentro se localizó en Ituango, en el departamento de Antioquia.
En este sentido, ante la ocurrencia de los movimientos telúricos, la Unidad Nacional de Gestión del Riesgo de Desastres (Ungrd) inspecciona los lugares para evaluar posibles daños.
Hasta el momento, no se reportan pérdidas de vidas humanas ni se contabilizan daños materiales, y las autoridades han asegurado que trabajan para entregar la información a los decisores y a los ciudadanos.
