Randy Arozarena and 4 other Latinos will start in the 2023 MLB All-Star Game

The Major Leagues (MLB) has everything ready for the 2023 All-Star Game and 5 Latino players will be present at the mid-season classic. The 5 sluggers are: Cuban-Mexican Randy Arozarena, Yandy Díaz, and Venezuelans Luis Arråez, Orlando Arcia and Ronald Acuña Jr.

Randy Arozarena earned his place as one of the American League's starting outfielders. The Cuban-Mexican has earned the love of the Seattle public and the Major Leagues in general.

Arozarena is having a good season with a .286 batting average, 80 hits, 14 home runs, 54 RBIs and 9 stolen bases. He will share the outfield with Mike Trout and Aaron Judge in his first appearance in an All-Star Game.

Yandy DĂ­az, Arozarena's teammate on the Tampa Bay Rays, was also selected as the starting first baseman for the American League. The Cuban earned his first selection to an All-Star Game thanks to his great season in Tampa Bay.

DĂ­az has 12 home runs, a .318 average, 84 hits and has been one of the Rays' best players this year.

The three Venezuelans in the National League

Ronald Acuña Jr. was the player with the most votes in the Major Leagues, even above Shohei Ohtani. The Venezuelan outfielder has been one of the best players this year in which he is a great candidate for the MVP award.

Acuña has 107 hits, a .331 batting average, 19 home runs, 36 stolen bases and 51 runs batted in

Then, two Venezuelans will pair up at second base and shortstop. Luis ArrĂĄez of the Marlins and Orlando Arcia of the Atlanta Braves will be the starters.

ArrĂĄez is having one of the best seasons of his career, hitting nearly .400 on the season and breaking an 80-plus-year Major League record. This will also be his first All-Star Game start.

Orlando Arcia has been one of the surprises of the season with his performance at shortstop for the Braves. After replacing Dansby Swanson, the Venezuelan has posted a .303 average, 64 hits, 26 RBIs and 32 runs scored so far this season.

The All-Star Game will be on July 11 at T-Mobile Park in Seattle, home of the Mariners.
