Rain and hail expected
The National Meteorological Service (SMN) announced the forecast for weather in Mexico for this October 6, 2023which predicts more rain due to cold front 4.
Cold front number 4 will be reinforced by a new mass of cold air and will interact with a low pressure channel over the northeast of the country and the subtropical jet stream, causing intense to occasional torrential rains.

Likewise, a low pressure area with a probability of cyclonic development south of the coasts of Chiapas and Oaxaca, in combination with a low pressure channel, will cause heavy rains.
According to the statement from the agency dependent on the National Water Commission (Conagua), a low pressure channel over the west to central Mexico will also cause rain with electric shocks and possible hail.

For today, October 6, 2023, a warm to hot environment is forecast in Sonora, Sinaloa and Tamaulipas with maximum temperatures of 35 to 40°C. As well as from 35 to 40 °C in Nuevo León, Baja California Sur, Nayarit, Jalisco, Colima, Michoacán, Guerrero, Oaxaca, Chiapas, Coahuila, San Luis Potosí, Hidalgo, Puebla, Veracruz, Tabasco, Campeche, Yucatán and Quintana Roo .
Weather in CDMX and Edomex: rain and hail are expected
In the Valley of Mexico, cloudy skies are expected today, October 6, 2023, with rain and intervals of showers in the Mexico City (CDMX) and in the State of Mexico, accompanied by electric shocks and possible hail.
In CDMX, a minimum temperature of 14 to 16 degrees Celsius and a maximum of 26 to 28 °C is expected, while, in Toluca, State of Mexico, the minimum will be 9 to 11 degrees Celsius and the maximum of 21 to 23 °C .
Weather in Nuevo León today, October 6, 2023
According to the forecast, rain is expected in Nuevo León, accompanied by electric shocks and possible hail. Wind from the north and northeast of 15 to 30 km/h with gusts of 60 to 80 km/h and possible dust devils in Coahuila and Nuevo León.
