The Prime Minister of Cuba, Manuel Marrero Cruz, arrived in Russia on Tuesday on an official visit that will last until June 17.

When announcing his arrival in Russia from Türkiye, Marrero Cruz indicated that the objective of the visit is to expand and consolidate bilateral relations, which have been maintained since 1960 to the present.
The Cuban prime minister was received at the Moscow international airport by the ambassador of the Caribbean country in Russia, Julio Garmendía Peña.

As part of his official visit to Russia, Marrero Cruz will participate in the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council to be held in the city of Sochi, will complete a program in the Russian capital and will attend the International Economic Forum in Saint Petersburg.
The Cuban Prime Minister arrived in Russia accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister Ricardo Cabrisas Ruiz, head of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment.
