Price of the dollar: how much does it cost today, January 20, in Mexico, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic and Venezuela
We tell you the price of the dollar this Friday, January 20, before its emerging Latin American peers. In Mexico today the green ticket is losing ground.

The dollar today loses ground in the Mexican market and gives way to the peso so that it appreciates at least 4 cents. The green bill started the session with a downward trend and is trading at 18.92 pesos per unit of green bill. At the bank window, at the time of writing this note, the average purchase price is 18.90 per unit and the price for sale is 18.92 pesos per dollar unit.
In Honduras the trend for the dollar is upward, but the price remains at 24.66 lempiras per unit of green bills, and at maximums and minimums of 24.53 and 24.80 lempiras per dollar, respectively.
In Nicaragua The dollar once again shows an upward trend, and remains at an average price similar to yesterday's at 36.54 cĂłrdobas per greenback unit. For buying and selling, the trend remains at the same average between 36.08 cĂłrdobas and 37.00 cĂłrdobas per dollar, respectively.
In Costa Rica The dollar continues with an upward trend and today it is trading against the Costa Rican colon at a price of 563.30 per dollar unit. In the average purchase and sale, the green bill moves between 562.85 for the purchase and 563.75 colones per dollar, respectively.
In Dominican Republic the green bill rises and maintains its upward trend, today it is trading at 56.76 DOP per dollar unit. For the purchase and sale of the green ticket in Dominican banks, the average is between 56.52 pesos and 57.00 DOP per dollar unit.
The dollar in Venezuela continues to gain ground, and before the end of the month it breaks the barrier of 19 bolivars and trades above the floor of 20. The average price today is 20.26 bolivars per dollar unit. The average range is 20.24 and 20.29 Bs. per green ticket for the purchase and sale.
