Presidente ruso y premier etíope abogan por mayor cooperación | Noticias
El presidente ruso, Vladímir Putin, recibió este miércoles al primer ministro de Etiopía, Abiy Ahmed Ali, con quien expresó la voluntad de Moscú de fortalecer la cooperación en diversas áreas, entre ellas la información.

El mandatario ruso señaló que con motivo de la visita se ha preparado un paquete de documentos, incluido un convenio intergubernamental en materia de la seguridad de la información.
De igual forma, Putin añadió que se redactó otro acuerdo en el campo de las comunicaciones aéreas, un memorando de entendimiento sobre tecnologías de comunicación, una hoja de ruta para la cooperación en el uso de la energía atómica y un protocolo para los servicios aduaneros.
A su vez, destacó que, a pesar de la ligera disminución del comercio bilateral, “la dinámica general es buena. Hoy estamos viendo un crecimiento del 56 por ciento. Como saben, en junio abrimos nuestra misión comercial en Addis Abeba”.
Por su parte, el premier etíope resaltó que la visita “contribuirá al fortalecimiento de nuestras relaciones. Debatiremos las relaciones bilaterales y multilaterales”, entretanto, indicó que Adís Abeba está “muy interesada en debatir con Rusia, como un país hermano”.
“Hemos acordado estudiar las cuestiones de tecnologías, de seguridad y de intercambios económicos y comerciales. Espero que sea un debate muy fructífero”, agregó.
Asimismo, Putin recalcó que Etiopía fue el primer país del continente africano con el que Rusia estableció relaciones diplomáticas hace 125 años mientras apuntó que recientemente fue celebrado este aniversario.
La visita de Ahmed se produce con motivo de la realización de la segunda cumbre y el foro económico y humanitario Rusia – África, la cual tendrá lugar este jueves y viernes en la ciudad rusa de San Petersburgo.
