President meets with executives from Mondelēz International and Grupo Bimbo; payment of taxes for more than 6 thousand million pesos stands out

Mexico.- President Andrés Manuel López Obrador met at the National Palace with Dirk Van de Put, president and CEO of Mondelēz International.

In a message on his social networks, the president explained that this company acquired Ricolino and for this operation it will pay the Tax Administration Service (SAT) more than 6 billion pesos in taxes.

“We appreciate your contribution and trust in Mexico,” he wrote in the post.

The Secretary of Economy, Raquel Buenrostro Sánchez, participated in the meeting on behalf of the Government of Mexico.

From Mondelēz International, the president for Latin America, Mariano Lozano; the executive director in Mexico, Oriol Bonaclocha and the director of Corporate and Government Affairs of Mondelēz International, Santiago Aguilera Montenegro.

Also present were the CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Grupo Bimbo, Daniel Servitje Montull, and Liliana Mejía, Global Director of Corporate Affairs of Grupo Bimbo.
