President Lula presents the largest agricultural plan in Brazil | News
The president of Brazil, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, announced on Tuesday the largest financing program for sustainable agricultural development projects in the country's history, valued at 364,000 million reais (77,446 million dollars).

“It is the first Harvest Plan of our government. I am not afraid to say that each year we will make better plans than the year before. I am convinced of that," said the president at the presentation ceremony of the 2023-2024 Harvest Plan, whose funds are 27 percent higher than those allocated last year.
The head of state pointed out that the plan will not be based on deforestation, but rather on recovering the 30 million hectares of degraded land in order to help combat climate change.
