In the form of registration and inhibition, Judge Juan Carlos Checkley ordered the seizure of four properties belonging to former President Castillo, three of which are located in AnguĂa, Chota, the hometown of the former head of state, and one in the town of Tacabamba, which would belong to his parents.

While, in the case of former premier Aníbal Torres Vásquez, nine assets will be seized: eight properties located in the districts of San Isidro and Lima Cercado, as well as a vehicle. Due to the order, neither Castillo nor Torres will be able to sell or assign those assets to third parties.

The State Attorney General's Office in Peru has requested a civil compensation of about 67 million soles (about 18,644,083 USD) for Castillo's attempt to dissolve Congress and establish an emergency government on December 7.

Both political leaders are being investigated for the alleged crime of rebellion and conspiracy in the form of abuse of authority and against public peace to the detriment of the State.

The Prosecutor's investigation also links former Prime Minister Betssy Chávez to these events; the former head of the Interior Willy Huerta and the former Minister of Foreign Trade Roberto Sánchez.
