Patricia Janeckovathe Slovak soprano, has died at the age of 25 due to to breast cancer who was diagnosed 20 months ago, according to reported the Facebook profile of the artist, considered a rising opera star.

Janecková announced in early February 2022 that she had been diagnosed with breast cancer and had to interrupt her performances.

"With a heavy heart, I have to leave the stage for a while and cancel all concerts to be able to fight and heal completely," he said then.

"Life goes on and I believe that I will win this fight with the help of the doctors and I will return with all my strength. I wish you all good health, be happy, take care of yourselves and, most importantly, do not forget prevention!", he said then. on his Instagram account.

Singer moved to Slovakia shortly after being born in the German city of Münchberg.
