Parliamentary Group of Morena will hold a second plenary meeting on January 24 and 25
On Monday, January 24 and Tuesday, January 25, the Morena Parliamentary Group in the Chamber of Deputies will hold its second plenary meeting, prior to the start of the Second Ordinary Period of Sessions of the First Year of the LXV Legislature, announced coordinator Ignacio Mier Velazco.
In a statement it was reported that according to the work program, it has been considered to invite officials of the Federal Government, whose areas are linked to the legislative agenda that the Parliamentary Group will present to the Board of Directors of the Chamber of Deputies, according to what is established by the General Law of Congress and its regulations.
Said agenda contemplates, among other priority issues, the reform of the electricity industry, secondary laws on mobility, changes to laws referring to credit institutions, the T-MEC and its implications in the electricity reform, as well as the sectorization of the National Guard to the Secretary of National Defense.
For this reason, the coordination of the Morena Parliamentary Group invited the heads of the Ministries of the Interior, Foreign Relations, Agrarian, Territorial and Urban Development, and Security and Citizen Protection, as well as the Financial Intelligence Unit and the Federal Electricity Commission, waiting for the presence of the Secretaries of the Navy and National Defense.
The work of this plenary meeting will be carried out privately in the facilities of the Chamber of Deputies.
