Papa Francisco pide a Rusia que renueve el acuerdo de exportación del grano
El papa Francisco instó hoy a Rusia a que renueve el acuerdo para la exportación del grano por el Mar Negro porque consideró “una gran ofensa a Dios” hacer la guerra sobre estas materias primas.
“Hago un llamado a mis hermanos, a las autoridades de la Federación Rusa, para que se restablezca la iniciativa del Mar Negro y el grano pueda ser transportado con seguridad”, dijo Francisco al final del rezo del ángelus en la plaza de San Pedro.
El papa pidió de nuevo oraciones para la martirizada Ucrania “donde la guerra lo destruye todo, incluso el grano” y consideró que “esto es una gran ofensa a Dios porque el grano es su don para alimentar a la humanidad y el grito de millones de hermanos y hermanas que pasan hambre sube al cielo”.
“Que continúe la iniciativa del grano y pueda ser transportado con seguridad”, agregó Francisco.

El pasado 17 de julio, Moscú suspendió el acuerdo de exportación de grano a través del mar Negro desde puertos ucranianos, suscrito inicialmente en julio de 2022 con la mediación de Turquía y la ONU.
Aseguró que lo hacía por la imposibilidad de exportar sus cereales y fertilizantes, el bloqueo de sus pagos bancarios y la congelación de sus activos en el extranjero.
El secretario general de la ONU, Antonio Guterres, urgió este lunes a Rusia a que retome la implementación de los acuerdos del mar Negro e instó a la comunidad mundial a permanecer unida en este esfuerzo por encontrar soluciones efectivas, durante la apertura en Roma de la Cumbre de las Naciones Unidas sobre Sistemas Alimentarios +2.
