Organizaciones sociales, políticas, gremiales, de derechos humanos, organizaciones campesinas e indígenas paraguayas se movilizarán este martes en la capital del país suramericano en medio de los actos oficiales por la asunción de Santiago Peña como presidente de Paraguay.

Convocan acto popular paralelo a toma presidencial en Paraguay

De acuerdo a los convocantes de la marcha, la concentración iniciará a las 10H00 (Hora local) en la Plaza Italia de la ciudad de Asunción.

Según los organizadores de “El otro 15 agosto” entre las exigencias que le solicitarán al nuevo mandatario se encuentran salarios justos, respeto a todos los derechos laborales, jubilación digna.



También pedirán mejoras en el sistema de salud, educación y alimentación que garanticen igualdad de oportunidades.

El secretario general del Partido Comunista Paraguayo (PCP), Najeeb Amado, enfatizó que a los trabajadores y trabajadoras del país se les vulneran sus derechos, ante estos hechos convocó a la unidad de todos los sectores para dar vuelta a la situación.



Además de la movilización se realizará una feria y un acto político cultural. La actividad se cerrará con una gran cena o almuerzo organizado por la Articulación de Ollas Populares.



Entre los convocantes a la movilización de este 15 de agosto se encuentran la Acción Sindical Clasista (ASC),  (JRF), Partido de la Participación Ciudadana (PPC), Plataforma Social de DDHH, Memoria y Democracia, son algunas de las organizaciones que participarán del acto.
