Only three strikers will go to the World Cup: who should be left out?

Gerardo Martino, director of the Mexican Soccer Team, said that the team has four forwards who are fighting for positions for the World Cup, but confirmed that not all of them will go.

In a press conference before the game against Peru, he said that the controversy will be due to left out, instead of the three summoned.

It gives me satisfaction that there is no shortage to be able to choose up front. In this sense, I always prefer the problem of abundance to that of scarcity.

The position is fought by Raúl Jiménez (Wolverhampton), Henry Martin (America), Rogelio Funes Mori (Monterrey) and Santiago Jiménez (Feyenoord).

The statement has triggered a debate about who should be left out. It must be remembered that the striped player is injured and would barely recover in time to attend Qatar.

In the Récord poll, 78 percent of the participants ask to exclude Funes Mori.

The Monterrey player is trending Topic on Twitter, but not with good comments:

-David Faitelson: He has it “easy” Gerardo Martino: the one who should and can stay at home is Rogelio Funes Mori…
-@KeryNews: According to Gibran Araige, the real striker on the tightrope is Rogelio Funes Mori. That makes a lot more sense.

On other issues, Father Martino reiterated that Carlos Vela told him three and a half years ago that he preferred not to be called up for the National Team.

In the case of Javier Hernández, he said that he himself, as a coach, decided to bet on other players.
