The Nuevo León Attorney General's Office reported that the human remains found in different parts of the metropolitan area would correspond to at least 12 people.

In its last report, issued around 7:30 p.m., the FGJNL determined the discovery of what would be 12 human heads, which suggests the same number of dismembered bodies.

The human remains were found inside black plastic bags, as well as in coolers in the municipalities of San Nicolás, Juárez, Apodaca, García, Santa Catarina, San Nicolás and Monterrey.

The violent day attributed to organized crime began around 7:00 a.m. this Tuesday.

“Of the 7 events of discovery of human remains in different parts of the metropolitan area, 12 cephalic regions in total have been recorded at 7:23 p.m.,” the Prosecutor's Office stated in a brief information sheet released tonight.
