Nuevo León sends 200 tons of aid to victims of Acapulco

The government of New Liontogether with the Ministry of Equality, have sent 200 tons of food support and personal hygiene kits to those affected by the huracan "Otis".

Dulce Alejandre Mora, Undersecretary of Social Protection and Equality and Inclusion Opportunities, said that the response to the dynamic has been positive not only from the civilian population but also from private associations.

The official explained that to guarantee the arrival of supplies to the affected areas, elements of the Civil Protection of Nuevo León are in the disaster area.

The Undersecretary explained that the donated products must be non-perishable food, as well as cleaning and personal hygiene items.

He reported that two more trucks will leave for Guerrero tomorrow, Thursday, with 20 tons of supplies each.

Dulce Alejandre Mora reported that in the state there are 70 collection centers which are available to receive support, as well as the Cáritas center from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
