New shooting in Maine, United States; 22 dead and dozens injured reported

At least two shootings were reported tonight in Lewis, Maine, United States. The first reports indicate that there are 22 dead and at least 80 injured.

Maine police issued an alert for a man named Robert Card and confirmed that the suspect remains at large.

Please stay off the streets and allow law enforcement to calm the situation. If you see any suspicious activity or individuals please call 911," Maine State Police said.

The Lewiston Police Department identified the businesses where the two shootings occurred; the first is about Schemengees Bar and Grille and the second Sparetime Recreation. Schemengees is a bar and grill restaurant, according to its website, and Sparetime Recreation is a recreational bowling alley.

"We are encouraging all businesses to close their doors or shelter in place while we investigate," the sheriff's office said.

In videos that are already circulating on social networks People can be seen running away from the shooting area while gunshots and screams sound in the distance.

There are also alleged photos of the shooter captured by security cameras.
