Luka Doncić started the season in a spectacular way and with a streak of nine consecutive games adding more than 30 points; however, this Wednesday said feat came to an end, the Slovenian only managed 24 units in the defeat, 94-87, of Dallas Mavericks in view of Orlando Magic.
Doncic he made several unforced errors and Dallas suffered greatly without the regular level of its star. Orlando barely got his tthird victory of the season in 12 games played.
Luka scored 24 points with a poor nine-for-29 shooting from the field, including two of 11 from outside the arc. In addition, in seven attempts from the line, he failed three of them.
Thus, the Slovenian said goodbye to the streak of consecutive games with more than 30 points, a record that belongs to the historic Wilt Chamberlin, who linked 23 consecutive duels with those numbers at the start of the 1962-63 season.
With that loss, Dallas has a record of 6-4 before facing the Wizards in Washington this Thursday.
