National Guard organizes crime prevention days in basic education schools
Within the framework of the National Public Security Strategy, members of the National Guard (GN) organized crime prevention days and gave talks on violence in public schools in Mexico City, the State of Mexico, Morelos and Veracruz.
The outreach work was carried out in the schools located in the Iztapalapa mayor's office in Mexico City; the municipalities of Cuernavaca, Temixco and Xoxocotla, in the state of Morelos; Nopaltepec, Teotihuacán and Acolman, in the State of Mexico; and in Veracruz, Veracruz.
Approximately 300 people participated in the conferences and discussed topics such as the culture of reporting, antisocial behavior, drugs and their consequences, responsible and safe browsing, risks in social networks, road safety, prevention of crimes on the web, possible criminal behavior, and promotion of health in children and youth
In the meetings, spaces for analysis and exchange of experiences were established, highlighting the importance of the responsible use of information technologies and the culture of reporting.
