Museum of Broken Relationships finally returns to CDMX

Mexico.- We all wish that the formula of “Eternal radiance of a mind without memories” existed for the first days of a rupture; undoubtedly the worst. But when grief has passed, there is the Museum of Broken Relationships.

It was in 2014 the first and last time that the Museum of Broken Relationships came to CDMX, breaking a donation record; people were ready to let go.

And it is that the traces of any relationship they can be painful, so it is best to get rid of those objects that ultimately only speak of our past.

Museum of Broken Relationships

The Museum of Broken Relationships is designed to free people from the ghosts that memories can become, as well as to take them on the carousel of emotions that a duel represents.

Eight years later, every Mexican who wants to free himself or simply get rid of what is no longer good for you, you can donate the objects you keep from that relationship at the Museum of Broken Relationships in CDMX.

The concept was born in Croatia, when in 2006 Olinka Vistica and Drazen Grubisic, ex-boyfriends who had been together for more than four years, opened their own exhibition with all the details that had occurred during their relationship.

The project was so successful that they managed to open a branch in Los Angeles, in addition to the Museum of Broken Relationships has reached different countries around the world, including Mexico.

The Museum of the Object of the Object (MODO) of the CDMXlocated at Colima 145, Cuauhtémoc, Roma Norte, will host the Museum of Broken Relationships.

Starting October 18, this will be exhibiting the objects that the interested parties have donated from their old relationship or friendship that simply did not work out. They can be letters, gifts or other details that were part of the relationship.
