Murder of ex-combatant denounced in Cauca, Colombia | News
The Institute of Studies for Development and Peace (Indepaz) denounced this Sunday the assassination of another signer of the Peace Agreement in Colombia, this time the event took place in Miranda, department of Cauca.

According to the Colombian entity, the victim responded to the name of Nelson David Montaños Márquez, who was in the process of reincorporation and worked as an escort for the collective scheme Espacio Territorial de Capacitación y Reincorporación (ETCR) of Monterredondo.
"This man was murdered by armed men who intercepted him around midnight in a public establishment in the urban area of the municipality of Miranda", details Indepaz.
Likewise, the Ombudsman's Office issued AT 035/18 in which it assessed as slow and unclear, the schedules and concrete actions by the National Government in the implementation of the Agreements with the ex-combatants located in the ETCR
Similarly, Indepaz referred, referring to the Ombudsman, that these elements also occur with the communities, which constitutes a risk for the construction of stable and lasting peace.
