Muere portero argentino a causa de una embolia pulmonar tras un entrenamiento con su club

El portero argentino Ángel Daniel Ibáñez murió este miércoles en Ecuador como consecuencia de una embolia pulmonar, tras presentar complicaciones después de un entrenamiento con el Chacaritas, de la segunda división ecuatoriana, según confirmaron directivos del club.
El guardameta, de 25 años, trabajó con normalidad hasta el pasado domingo, pero, tras sentir fuertes dolores, fue llevado a un hospital, donde los médicos confirmaron al directivo Leonardo Maroto el inconveniente de salud que presentó el jugador, sin que lograra recuperarse.
Ibáñez se vinculó al Chacaritas a comienzo de la actual temporada y trabajó sin mostrar ninguna complicación en su salud, como corroboró a periodistas locales el técnico del equipo, el también argentino Horacio Montemurro.
El portero actuaba a préstamo en el fútbol ecuatoriano, tras ser cedido para la actual temporada por el club dueño de sus derechos deportivos, el Atlético Tucumán, de Argentina.
Desde la Liga Pro de Ecuador se confirmó la suspensión del partido de este miércoles entre Chacaritas y Coniburo, de la vigésima segunda fecha.
El Chacaritas marcha penúltimo en la tabla de posiciones y el Coniburo ocupa el sexto lugar de los diez equipos que conforman la Serie B.
