Germany has in its hands the delivery of the Western-made battle tanks needed for Ukraine, where the Russian war of aggression is on its way to completing one year. France has increased this Sunday the pressure on the German Chancellor, Olaf Scholz, by not excluding this Sunday the delivery to the Ukrainian army of the powerful Gallic Leclerc tanks. Both Berlin and Paris have also announced that they will increase military aid to Ukraine for as long as necessary, but made the shipment of Western-made tanks conditional on an agreement with the United States and other allies.
