Mike Tysonone of the greatest legends of American boxing, has been sued in the state of NY by a woman who accuses him of having raped her in the early 90s.
The troubles with the law, and women, seem to never end for the former heavyweight world champion.
The woman claims 5 million dollars in damages, according to court documents filed this month with a court in the city of Albanycapital of the state of NY, and that they met this Tuesday.
The lawsuit is based on a law that has opened in New York a period of one year to seek justice for sexual crimes up to now prescribed and under which they have also started legal action against other well-known figures as the former US president donald trump or the actor Bill Cosby.

Mike Tyson has a criminal record, after being found guilty of raping Desiree Washington and sentenced in 1992 to six years in prison, of which he served less than three.
In this case, the alleged victim claims she met Tyson at an Albany club and that later she got into a vehicle with him to go look for a friend.
The applicant explains in an affidavit:
Tyson immediately started touching me and tried to kiss me. I told him no several times and asked him to stop but he kept attacking me. Then he took off my pants and violently raped me.
The woman, whose identity remains anonymous does not specify the date of the attack beyond the fact that it occurred early 90’s.
In 1991, Tyson was arrested for raping an 18-year-old woman. Desiree Washington, in an Indianapolis hotel and later sentenced to six years in prison, of which he served just under three in prison.

The 56-year-old ex-boxer, who was world heavyweight champion between 1987 and 1990, he always maintained his innocence in that case.
