Michoacán, in the top 10 in Mexico with the lowest unemployment rate

Michoacán.- Michoacán occupies the seventh place among the entities with the lowest unemployment rate in the country with only 2 percent of its Economically Active Population (EAP) at the end of the second quarter of this year, according to official statistics from the Institute National Statistics and Geography (Inegi).
The National Occupation and Employment Survey (ENOE) revealed that 98 percent of the Economically Active Population (2 million 176 thousand 236 people) carry out an activity that generates an economic livelihood.
Among the entities that occupied the first places in the PEA in this Inegi measurement are: Guerrero with 99.1 percent, Oaxaca 98.8 percent, Yucatán 98.4 percent; and Campeche, Chiapas, Morelos and Michoacán, with 98.2 percent, each.
The above, because the Government of Michoacán has joined forces with the Private Initiative (IP) to promote the Labor Accreditation program operated by the Ministry of Economic Development (Sedeco), which, through its platform https:// acreditacionlaboral.sedeco.michoacan.gob.mx/ has the objective of increasing the number of workers affiliated with the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS) and providing conditions for compliance in labor chapters with commercial partners in relation to the T-MEC and APEC .
