Group C of the Qatar 2022 World Cup will have one of the most anticipated matches of the first phase. A completely full stadium is expected. The match will take place at the Lusail Stadiumlocated in the city of Lusail, Qatar. Argentines and Mexicans will face each other this November 26 in a match in which the first eliminated from the group could be confirmed.
Argentina arrives at the match with Mexico in a state of emergency. Lionel Scaloni’s team was surprised by Saudi Arabia, team that beat Lionel Messi’s albiceleste 1-2. This result made the stay of the South American team in the World Cup too complicated. But hours later Poland and Mexico had mercy on him.
The Mexican National Team, in the previous one, should win the game against Poland, as it was his direct rival and with whom in theory he would fight for second place. But the victory of Saudi Arabia complicated the whole group C and El Tri could not get past the draw against the Poles. Mexican equality seemed unfair because of what they proposed within the field, but then came the penalty saved by Guillermo Ochoa that gave equality a sweet taste.
The truth is that Mexico and Argentina will face each other in a momentous match for both teams. In the previous one Argentina is the favourite, although against Saudi Arabia it was too. In the last five matches between the two, El Tri has taken four defeats and only one draw. In those five duels, Mexico has conceded more than ten goals.
