Netherlands triumph 2-0 over Senegal in Qatar 2022
The Mexican team reaches a World Cup for the 17th time, leading in its records of best participations in the 1970 and 1986 tournaments.
For the Mexicans it will be their 8th consecutive participation in the World Cup. This time they will seek to overcome their past performance in which they stayed in the round of 16.
The Polish team reaches this World Cup event for the 9th time in its history, with the best participation being in 1982 when it obtained third place. The European team has a squad with players who stand out in the most competitive leagues in the world.
Robert Lewandowski is one of the leaders of the Polish team and one of the best forwards in the world. With Bayer Munich he broke several records in Germany, however, with his national team he has not been able to obtain positive results in European tournaments, qualifying for four Eurocups.
Led by coach Czesław Michniewicz, they hope to perform well and give the teams of Mexico and Argentina headaches.
“I’ve been to Doha many times before, I knew what to expect. It’s easier and more pleasant for me when I come here. In Sochi it was different, strange, not entirely comfortable. I don’t feel it here. We feel pretty good in Qatar in comparison.”
