Mexico won its fourth gold in taekwondo this Sunday of the Pan American Games in Santiago-2023, in which they are dominating the United States, the great continental sports power, by winning the mixed pairs poomsae.

Cecilia Lee Kim and William Arroyo defeated the Nicaraguan duo in the finalwhile the bronzes went to Puerto Rico and Ecuador.
For William Arroyo this is the second gold medal in Santiago-2023, since on Saturday he had won in the men's individual poomsae. In this way, he is currently the only athlete who has won two gold medals in the Games in the Chilean capital, which began on Friday.
Cecilia Lee Kim, for her part, had already won bronze on Saturday in the women's individual poomsae.
Taekwondo distributes another three gold medals this Sunday in the afternoonin the categories 57 kilos female Kyorugi, 67 kilos female Kyorugi and 80 kilos male Kyorugi.
