Manolo Jiménez meets with automotive industry suppliers in China
China.- Within the framework of the strategic promotion tour carried out in Asia, the elected governor of Coahuila, Manolo Jiménez Salinas, met with the Mexican ambassador to China, Jesús Seade, with whom he held a series of meetings with directors of supply companies in the automotive industry of this Asian country and who are interested in investing in Mexico.
“There was an excellent meeting with the Ambassador of Mexico in China, Don Jesús Seade, whom I thank for all his attention. In addition, we were with a group of Chinese business promoters, and together we are going to see investors who seek to reach Mexico and after introducing them to Coahuila, they will have no doubt that it is the best option to invest in our country,” the governor-elect announced.
Jiménez Salinas indicated that he held meetings with executives of key companies. “These companies are divided between those that are already in Coahuila and want to grow, those that already have the State among their options to invest and those that have already decided to invest in Mexico but are starting to look for the best options,” he said.
He added that the meetings were mostly with supplier companies to General Motors and Tesla in China. Due to the nearshoring phenomenon, they are also being installed in North America.
“Our vision of the new government is that economic development and job creation reach all regions of the state. During this strategic promotion tour we are giving precision shots and we are making the most of all the meetings to arrive in Coahuila with more favorable news for our people,” he noted.
