López Obrador congratulates Ebrard for staying in Morena; 'it's a lot of maturity', he highlights

The president of Mexico, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, expressed his satisfaction upon learning of the decision of the former secretary of foreign affairs, Marcelo Ebrard Casaubón to remain in Morena and not run as a presidential candidate for the Citizen Movement.
At the end of his meeting with the Yaqui peoples in Guaymas, Sonora, where he went to review the progress of the justice plan for that ethnic group, the president was approached by the media to find out his point of view on what was decided by his former collaborator; It was then that he highlighted that it was an act of maturity, a resolution that privileged the unity and good of the country.
"I see him very well, I congratulate him, I send a hug to Marcelo. I am happy for the decision he made, it is unity and it is a lot of maturity and thinking that the most important thing is that the transformation continues. The most important thing is to help, work for the people and defend the nation" he expressed when approached by the press who waited for him before boarding his truck.
For weeks, Ebrard Casaubón expressed his discontent with Morena's internal process to elect its presidential candidate; He said that he engaged in improper practices that should not be committed again.
