Liberan a colaborador cubano secuestrado en Haití | Noticias
El ministerio de Salud Pública de Cuba (Minsap) anunció este miércoles que la liberación del colaborador de la Brigada Médica cubana en Haití, Alejandro Aguilera Milanés, quien permaneció diez días secuestrado por grupos ilegales de ese país.

El ente sanitario antillano señaló a través de un comunicado que “agradecemos a las autoridades haitianas y a todas las personas de buena voluntad que se movilizaron de inmediato para lograr la liberación del colaborador en el menor tiempo posible y de manera segura”.
“Los colaboradores de la Brigada Médica Cubana continúan brindando sus servicios de atención a la población haitiana, a la vez que cumplen con las medidas de seguridad establecidas para el desempeño de sus funciones”, añadió.
En la tarde de hoy fue liberado el colaborador Alejandro Aguilera Milanés, perteneciente a la Brigada Médica Cubana en Haití, quien había sido secuestrado en Puerto Príncipe el pasado 23 de enero, por una de las bandas armadas que operan en ese país.

Tras el secuestro, el MINSAP informó que las autoridades haitianas iniciaron las gestiones de manera inmediata, discreta y prioritaria en pos de lograr la liberación más pronta posible.
De igual forma, los familiares del colaborador, quien trabaja en la Dirección Provincial de Salud de Las Tunas, fueron mantenidos al tanto de todas las acciones ejecutadas.
La nación haitiana atraviesa por una severa crisis humanitaria y económica en medio de un contexto matizado por el aumento de la violencia entre los grupos armados donde los secuestros a extranjeros resultan frecuentes.
