The coordinator of the Defense of Transformation, Claudia Sheinbaum, regretted that in Aguascalientes education is politicized when the distribution of free textbooks from the Ministry of Public Education (SEP) is suspended.

During the signing of the Agreement for Unity in Aguascalientes, Morena's virtual candidate for the presidency of the Republic, called on the Morenista militancy to form the Defense of Transformation committees to organize themselves.

“Let them start distributing textbooks for all the boys and girls here in Aguascalientes, what a fault it is for the children to be politicizing education,” he emphasized.

Sheinbaum Pardo emphasized that in the entity there is ample opportunity to add more militants to the movement.

“We have to organize ourselves. There are many militants here, sympathizers of our movement, each one of those who are here, teachers, farmers, peasants, workers, we have to commit to creating a Transformation Defense Committee,” he concluded.
