León touches the sky and takes the Concachampions

El León won the first CONCACAF Champions League this Sunday of its history, by revalidating the 2-1 victory in the first leg with a 1-0 win against Los Angeles FC in the Californian city with a goal from Argentine Lucas Di Yorio.

The Lion of Argentine coach Nicolás Larcamón returned to Mexico the crown in the CONCACAF Champions League after last year the Seattle Sounders ended a streak of 16 consecutive Mexican victories.

"The Beast" is the thirteenth team from Mexico capable of conquering the 'Concachampions'. LAFC lost their second final of this tournament, after being denied glory by Tigres in 2020.
