Karol G premieres the song "Watati" from the "soundtrack" of the movie "Barbie"

Colombian singer Karol G surprised with the release of 'Watati', his collaboration with the Panamanian reggaeton artist Aldo Ranks, who will be part of the soundtrack of the movie 'Barbie' which will be released on July 21.

Dressed as a whole "Barbie" in the promotional video of the film, Carolina Giraldo, real name of the interpreter of "Tomorrow will be beautiful", announced on her social networks that the catchy song is now available on digital platforms.

In the clip Margot Robbie appears starring in 'Barbie' and saying to the Colombian: “Hi, Karol G”, and the singer appears on the scene saying: “Hi, Barbie”. With outfits according to the theme, a high pink ponytail and makeup with a natural finish, the artist appears.

The song that is titled 'Watati' is a fusion between Colombia and Panama that is based on the same sound of reggae in its beginnings.

“For a long time I wanted to make music that would remind me of the great Panamanian songs that I danced to and enjoyed years ago and that are still part of my playlist”, revealed the singer when she made the announcement of the collaboration with Aldo.

Although the audio has already been released, the artist announced that the official video will soon be released, starring her in the doll outfit, as it appears in the promotional clip.

Hand in hand with 'trailers' and the revelation of the artists who will be part of the 'soundtrack', the story of the new film by the renowned doll has been creating great expectations. La 'Bichota' and Aldo Ranks are the only Latinos on the list of singers who will participate in the highly anticipated 'Barbie' movie.

In addition to Karol G, the soundtrack is made up of music stars, such as Dua Lipa, Nicki Minaj, Ava Max, Charli XCX, Dominic Fike, Fifty Fifty, Gayle, Ice Spice, Kali, Ryan Gosling, The Kid LAROl, and Tame Impala.
