Johan Vásquez started in yet another Genoa loss and moves even closer to relegation in Italy

Despite the good football moment that the Mexican defender is experiencing John Vasquez with the Genoa of Italy, his team has not been able to leave the relegation zone and everything indicates that the Genoese team is closer to the B-series than to stay in the A series.

Genoa needed to add on their visit to Hellas Veronabut the local team was able to beat them by 1 goal to 0, with the only goal from Giovanni Simeon at minute 5′ of the game. However, the Mexican could not manage to stop the Argentine on the goal play and neither could the goalkeeper. Salvatore Sirigu was able to stop the shot.

Although the team’s defeat compromises the Mexican defender’s future in Genoa, he was able to perform well during the match against Hellas Veronaleaving some positive statistics with six duels won out of eight and 44% of his passes completed.

Despite playing on some occasions on the left side, he was able to be in his usual place where he has been much more comfortable.

Genoa will have to go out looking for the three points in their next commitments to stay alive in the Serie A of Italy and they will have to face the Latiumas a local, to then visit the momentary leader, the AC Milan at San Siro.
