Palestinian PM denounces Israel over escalation in violence
Local media report that Israeli planes launched four strikes against the same number of areas in the center, west and south.
These attacks were allegedly directed against military positions of the Palestinian resistance, but they caused damage to the houses of citizens and nearby properties.
The Ezzeldin Al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of the Palestinian Resistance Movement (Hamas), responded to the air raid and fired surface-to-air missiles at the Israeli fighter-bombers.
In parallel, several missiles were launched against settlements of Israeli settlers that surround the Gaza Strip and the Al Mujahideen Brigades, also from the Palestinian resistance, bombarded with heavy weapons a military enclave of the occupiers in the town of Nahal Oz.
In the opinion of the Hamas spokesman, Hazem Qassem, the new attack on the Gaza Strip is part of the cycles of Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people, their land, holy places and their heroic prisoners, who number 4,700 in jails in Tel Aviv.
The bombardments against the Strip followed a meeting held on Wednesday night and headed by the occupiers' head of Internal Security, Itamar Ben Gvir, with the purpose of maintaining the escalation against that coastal enclave and diverting attention from what It happens in the West Bank.
In the early hours of this Thursday, the occupiers carried out a group of raids in various towns in the occupied West Bank and detained 28 people, including eight children.
