The Palestinian Ministry of Health reported that the bullet hit the neck of the civilian identified as Fayed Khaled Damdon, bringing the Palestinian fatalities to around 110 so far in 2022 in the West Bank.
According to local media, the Israeli forces fired while Fayed Khaled Damdon was riding his motorcycle near the Mourabitin mosque in the town of Al Azariya, contrary to what Israeli platforms indicated about the carrying of Molotov cocktails and other devices.
In the same way, Palestinian authorities denounced that the health specialists and the ambulance were not allowed to pass to attend to the young man, even though Israeli media insisted that the victim received treatment.
Faced with the murder of Fayed Khaled Damdon, hundreds of Palestinians gathered in Abus Dis, a neighborhood where the young man was transferred and presumed dead.
In this sense, last Wednesday four Palestinians were also killed in the Jenin refugee camp, in the north of the occupied West Bank.
On September 15, a 17-year-old Palestinian teenager was also murdered in Jenin, specifically in the town of Kfar Dan. The victim was identified as Uday Salah, who was shot in the head.
According to platforms such as Free Palestine, it is ensured that this year has been the deadliest year in the occupied territory since 2016 in relation to the deaths and massacres caused by the Israeli apartheid regime.
