In this sense, the chief of staff of the Israeli War Army, Aviv Kochavi, explained that six troops will be stationed on the border of the Arab nation, for a total of 31 battalions of the occupationist forces, taking into account the 25 formations of previously established forces.
It is worth specifying that the decision of the Zionist regime takes place in the midst of the raids against the Palestinian people of the city of Jemli and the occupied West Bank, which caused the death of more than 14 Palestinians, including women and children.
According to the Association for Human Rights and Support for Palestinian Prisoners, 4,450 Palestinian political prisoners are arbitrarily imprisoned in Israeli prisons and detention centers.
This figure includes 530 Palestinians under administrative detention, which allows local imprisonment without charge for renewable intervals of between three and six months, based on evidence not disclosed even to the detainee’s lawyer.
It should be added that in the last 50 years, more than 800,000 Palestinians have been imprisoned by Israeli forces; which means that around 40 percent of Palestinian men and boys have been deprived of their liberty.
