In turn, the Persian president stressed that his country is opposed to unilateral coercive measures and unilateralism promoted by the West, meanwhile, he indicated that sanctions are a military tool that harms nations.

President Raisi arrived in Zimbabwe on Thursday after his visit to Uganda, where he inaugurated the Iran Innovation and Technology Office in Kampala, the capital of the African country, in order to promote Iranian products based on Iranian knowledge in different fields.

According to Persian media, the office will be in charge of expanding export markets, as well as promoting joint cooperation with African states, especially with East Africa.

Previously, the Iranian leader made the first leg of his tour of Africa in Kenya where he was officially received by his Kenyan counterpart, William Samoei Ruto.
