Interurban Train 'El Insurgente' will charge $15 from October 1, 2023

Wherever you go! Starting October 1st, the El Insurgente Interurban train will have a cost of 15 pesos per person, this as part of the facilities that the federal government seeks to give to users.

In a joint statement, the Interurban train and the National Bank of Public Works and Services (Banobras), it was mentioned that The validity of this cost will only be until June 30, 2024so starting July 1st it will have an adjustment, although it has not been determined if it will be a fixed price, like the current one, or there will be variations due to distance.

Currently the Insurgente provides service in the four stations of the State of Mexico: Zinacantepec, Toluca Centro, Metepec and Lerma. It has hours from six in the morning to 11 at night, 365 days a year.

“Access will be through the Integrated Mobility Card, used in the transportation systems of Mexico City or by purchasing a ticket with a QR code in the service modules at the stations.”
