In the Senate and the Chamber of Deputies, the PRI will work together for the good of Mexico
Mexico.- The Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI) will work together for the good of Mexico and this political institute, affirmed the President of the National Executive Committee (CEN) of the tricolor, Alejandro Moreno, who stressed that it is imperative to strengthen the relationship between the groups Parliamentarians in the Chamber of Deputies and the Senate of the Republic, to work in unity.
The President of the CEN led a meeting of more than three hours at the national headquarters with the Coordinator of the PRI bench in the Upper House, Miguel Ángel Osorio Chong, and later with all the senators, in which an exchange of ideas and of opinions, and in which all agreed in the internal unit.
Present at the meeting were Senators Eruviel Ávila Villegas, Vice President of the Board of Directors; Manuel Añorve Baños, Vice Coordinator; Claudia Ruiz Massieu, Vice Coordinator of Political and Parliamentary Liaison; Nuvia Mayorga Delgado, Sylvana Beltrones Sánchez, Beatriz Paredes Rangel, Claudia Anaya Mota, Verónica Martínez García, Jorge Carlos Ramírez Marín, Mario Zamora Gastélum and Ángel García Yáñez. Coordinator Osorio Chong pointed out that "it is important to find new channels of communication between the bench in the Senate and the leadership, which will strengthen the party and allow us to better respond to the needs of the people."
For his part, President Alejandro Moreno assured that what the party seeks is to strengthen internal unity and work to have good coordination with its benches in the Union Congress. Likewise, he maintained that the PRI legislators will close ranks and work closely in both Chambers, to ensure victory in the elections on June 4 in Coahuila and the State of Mexico.
“In the PRI we always put dialogue and unity first. We understand the challenges that the country is facing and, in order to get ahead, we must work as a team as a party and hand in hand with society. Plurality strengthens us, together we continue to advance through Mexico”, stressed Alejandro Moreno.
The meeting was also attended by the CEN Secretary General, Carolina Viggiano; the Coordinator of federal deputies, Rubén Moreira and the Technical Secretary of the National Political Council, Pablo Angulo Briceño.
