Within the framework of the Joint Plan to Combat Hydrocarbon Theft, in Tabasco, members of the National Guard (GN) located a clandestine intake used for illegal theft and seized four tractor-trailers; two of them, loaded with approximately 79 thousand liters of fuel.

The discovery was recorded when national guards carried out preventive patrols in the vicinity of the Carlos A. Madrazo town, in the municipality of Huimanguillo, where they noticed movement of heavy vehicles.

When searching the place, they observed a tractor-trailer with a tanker truck parked on a gap, and two people who fled in different directions when noticing the presence of the official units, for which they were followed up without positive results.

In the area, National Guard personnel perceived a strong smell of fuel and located three more tractor-trailers, two of which were loaded with approximately 79,000 liters of hydrocarbon, presumably obtained illegally.

They also located a clandestine outlet made up of a nipple welded to the pipeline, a valve, and a quick connection. In addition, in the undergrowth they found a truck with the windows down and the key attached to the ignition switch.

The four tractor-trailers, the fuel and the vehicle were seized and made available to the Federal Public Ministry Agency in the entity, where the corresponding investigations will continue. Meanwhile, Pemex's specialized personnel, in charge of disabling the clandestine takeover, were notified.
